The EPSRC Centre For Doctoral Training in Future Propulsion and Power organised this year’s Annual Women in Aerospace dinner at Loughborough University. The event was hosted by Patricia Gruber, Technical Director for Office of Naval Research, and brought together final year aerospace students from Cambridge, Loughborough, Oxford, Durham and Bath with leaders in the field from academia, government and industry, with the aim of celebrating and promoting women in leadership roles in aero-related sciences. Delegates included representatives of Rolls Royce, Siemens, Dyson, Reaction Engines and Airbus. Moreover the event provided an opportunity to network, give advice, encourage and inspire young women who want to progress in the sector. All in all, it was a really successful and inspiring evening!
