Students have recently returned from Rolls-Royce, Derby when they undertook a week long industry course.
This year saw a mix of a holistic gas turbine design course and touring Rolls-Royce facilities and factories. The emphasis of the industry course is on whole-engine understanding of performance covering a range of disciplines including aerodynamics, mechanics and thermal modelling.
